-Troop 1032 Blog-Day 2 - 3/1/2010 We rise at 6:30am for most people, and start the day off with a hearty breakfast. We also show our hospitality by cooking for a neighbouring troop that have recently arrived from interstate. Breakfast consisted of toast and cereal today. Today is made for the scouts to explore the site and we had plenty of time to do that. We got our campsite finished with the Grand Entrance walkway. Our gateway made a bit of a stir and even the local media were impressed. Its no surprise when the skill and quality of workmanship is put on display like no other. Congratulations, to Leon and his helpful construction crew.
After lunch there was some time for some ball sports on site and Hamish was caught in action.
With the official start of the jamboree in sight I know that alot of people are looking forward to the opening ceremont. More pictures will be posted tomorrow after the opening ceremony. After a long day my wifi connection is about to terminated... and its time for bed!
